Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) has drawn a line in the sand over the left's rampant deficit spending and demanded that Democrats actually start following their own "pay-as-you-go" rules...

I didn’t see the “Run for President” option.
It is a careless poll. It doesn’t include what he wants to do, which is to permit extension of benefits but apply funds that already available. Without that choice, the poll is worthless.
Voted “Other” because “Keep resisting unemployment extensions” misses the point. He isn’t “resisting” anything other than irresponsible spending...
So true
It was a lousy biased poll. That said I am sure they are not pleased with the results so far.
He’s already made a stand. He just needs to keep it.
He’s in a position of forcing the dems to do exactly what they claimed the law would do. They wrote the thing, didn’t they? The GOP is in an interesting position. They either go full tilt and bore, or lose this.
I wouldn’t stand down. He is in there until the next election anyway. I would have cell phone trouble, a missing aide, and notices on his website or in his office regarding his concern for the country, but I would be scarce. “The Senator will give a statement shortly....” that’s a good one.
The left will have to put up or shut up. ~And they can find the money. They just don’t want to cut into their “walking around” slush fund.
Thanks
Agree to more deficit spending 3.75% (9 votes)

Agree to tax hikes 2.08% (5 votes)
Other 7.92% (19 votes)
I dindn’t see, Congress should coe up with a way to pay for it as an option.
Poll is meaningless.
"Paying for what you spend is basic common sense. Perhaps that's why, here in Washington, it has been so elusive."
Now, Congress will have to pay for what it spends, just like everybody else,
