Betraying freedom in Latin America
NY Post ^ | March 3, 2010 | Ralph Peters

I was wrong. For years, I've argued that our government should pay more attention to South America. Now Hillary Clinton has -- and, boy, is it ugly.

With tragic back-to-back earthquakes dominating the headlines from south of the border, a desperate ploy by the hard-left Argentine government -- backed by Venezuela's Hugo Chavez -- threatens to shake the continent's political landscape.

And Secretary of State Clinton, during her whirlwind tour down south, managed to outrage our British allies and assist despised President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in her family's assault on Argentine democracy.

Clinton's diplomatic malfeasance in Buenos Aires wasn't an accident. She spoke for President Obama, who loves Third World liberation rhetoric and seems to think Britain's still colonizing his family home in Kenya.

Hillary would have been better off staying in the Senate.

The Kirchners are in many ways worse than Chavez because they wear the cloak of normalcy when in fact, they idealize Chavez’s NeoCastroism..

Instead of beating Obama in the primary or shadow-governmenting him from the get-go, Hillary will end up being remembered as a mere lackey within the most evil, corrupt and loathsome administration in American history. While Barack capers on the stage - refusing to get off for any of the other acts - Hillary and Bill stand in the wings not daring to withhold applause lest the Dem audience target them with tomatoes or bricks.

I'd feel sorry for her if she weren't still capable of causing damage while being a nonentity.

EVERY SINGLE TIME this administration has had a chance to stand up for democracy, its’ chosen to back the dictator!

Though I don’t like Hilary, I never would have believed she could prostitute herself this much - just like during the Honduras debacle - twitter helped spread the word that we weren’t hearing the truth from our government. When everyone started laughing at the whitehouse talking points was when they finally had to tone down the ‘coup’ talk.

She’s a disgrace to America.

Hillary probably admires the K&K scam on Argentina.

I can hear her telling Cristina, “Wow, Bubba and I tried to tag team the US like this but you guys have it down!”

The same applies to Obama.

I thought that it was just me but I heard Dick Morris say once that he found Hillary to look different in every photo and TV appearance he sees of her. He made a snide little insinuation that maybe it was due to demon possession!

We’ll never know but it sounds like something most any lib is capable of.
