I will say your comedic skills are razor sharp - I can't stop laughing.

President Lincoln was well-known for his folksy anecdotes and humorous asides. If you knew anything of real history, you would know this too.

Read ANY biography of Lincoln, and they'll say the same thing. Or just do a Google search on "Abe Lincolns Humor", to see any one of hundreds of links. This is a key fact about Lincoln's personality. Lincoln LOVED to be the center of attention in a crowd, telling jokes and stories....which is, as I said, the day's equivalent of "stand up humor".
