"I suggest you spend a bit more time studying history. Abe was widely acclaimed for his comedic skills. He did exactly the equivalent of the "stand up" of his day. " Sorry, I'm going to have to call BS on that one. Please, share with us your source that talks about Honest Abe doing the "equivalent of stand-up" of his day.
I will say your comedic skills are razor sharp - I can't stop laughing.

President Lincoln was well-known for his folksy anecdotes and humorous asides. If you knew anything of real history, you would know this too.

"Please, share with us your source that talks about Honest Abe doing the "equivalent of stand-up" of his day." Read ANY biography of Lincoln, and they'll say the same thing. Or just do a Google search on "Abe Lincolns Humor", to see any one of hundreds of links. This is a key fact about Lincoln's personality. Lincoln LOVED to be the center of attention in a crowd, telling jokes and stories....which is, as I said, the day's equivalent of "stand up humor".
