Hamas suspects the security forces of an Arab state were behind the assassination of a senior group operative in Dubai earlier this year, the Al-Quds Al-Araby daily reported on Tuesday.

Mahmoud Nasser, a member of Hamas' political bureau, told the newspaper that slain commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was likely being tracked by agents from Jordan and Egypt prior to the January 19 killing.

Nasser said he had been given information regarding such efforts to kill Mabhouh, adding that the evidence indicated that the assassination was carried out earlier than the alleged agents had planned

King Abdullah II of Jordan has a sister, who is the second wife of the Emir of Dubai.

Hamas goes and blames Jordanian intelligence operatives for the death of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, and Hamas is implicating the ruler of Jordan is responsible for the death.

That leaves the Emir in a position of having to defend his family first, leaving to a cold case and no further investigative cooperation between Jordan and Dubai.

Oooooh, I just love the intrigue of all of this. Like putting a puzzle together where it looks like no one will be able to make all the pieces fit.

Iran has their hand shoved all the way up Hamas’s butthole.
Hamas is simply trying to blame Egpyt and Jordan because thats what their mullah masters have ordered them to do.

No, you're mistaken.

DUBAI is not calling for the arrest of Netanyahu and/or Dagan; rather, it is the police chief that is yakking away, mesmerized with all the attention from the Arab press.

The GOVERNMENT of Dubai has NOT called for any arrest of the PM or the head of Mossad.

Just the Keystone Cop.

Dubai police chief doesn’t order Netanyahu arrest without getting permission from higher up.

Sjackson -- was it you who explained that DUBAI, the government of Dubai in NO way was going to go along with any arrest warrantss being issued for Bibi and/or Meir?

I can't recall who wrote about it.

The Commissioner of Police is related to the ruler of Dubai, and is said to have been given lots of leeway in this case because he is a relative, and certainly the Arab Press has turned him into a folk hero among the moslems, but in no way does he represent the government.

Do you recall when that was explained, previously???

Thanks.

the assassination was carried out earlier than the alleged agents had planned

That and the fact that the Dubaiians have *27* suspects would indicate that perhaps several agencies were looking for this fellow and maybe Mossad just got in first.
