McCain campaign pushes ties between Hayworth, Abramoff
The Hill ^ | 3/4/10 | Sean Miller

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is using J.D. Hayworth’s legal trust to hammer his primary opponent about his entanglement in the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal.

Meanwhile, Hayworth’s former House colleagues are donating thousands to help him escape a legal debt they say he accumulated facing false allegations.

The McCain campaign is ratcheting up pressure on the former congressman to disclose the donors to the Freedom in Truth Trust (FITT) he set up in 2008 to pay down legal bills stemming from the Abramoff lobbying scandal.

Hayworth came under investigation by the Department of Justice after he received campaign contributions from Abramoff and his Indian tribe clients, including in-kind use of skyboxes at sporting events. He incurred more than $170,000 in legal fees defending himself and set up a legal trust to receive donations after he left Congress.

Yep. Of course Obama's ties to Reverend Wright, James "house niggers" Meeks, Bill Ayers, ACORN, The New Party, Rashid Khalidi, Tony Rezko, Khalid al-Mansour, and Frank Marshall Davis were not to be discussed.

JD needs to pull out McCain's ties to Soros and the Tides Foundation, Algore, and Teddy Kennedy.

Yep, McCain relishes going up against fellow Republicans. When he is up against “my friends” the dimoKKKRATS he gives them every polite consideration.

Please tell me we have the video or audio of Mc saying this (or a fundraising letter, etc.)?

I’ll go dig on Mc’s links.

He practically kissed Obama’s can when he was running for President.

Now when he is running against a fellow Republican he puts the bad-mouth on him.

What a turd.

McCain’s wife and lobbyists have long bought his senate seat, and this is the first time a popular Republican has challenged him, so he is running scared at the prospect of voters having a choice.

Because truth be told, with any other Republican in the race, McCain is about as popular as severe, impacted constipation.

Remember how he repeatedly lied on Romney during the run down south, even though Romney had outed him as a liar... he continued.

And Palin wants to associate herself with McCain and his nastiness? McCain is desperate. This will backfire.

The McCain and Cheney klans should stop pushing the gay marriage/sodomy agenda.

Juan McCain is a slime.

Isn't it interesting that people BEGGED McCain to talk about Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers but McCain wouldn't do it — just refused to do it, but now he feels complete freedom to go negative and trash a conservative.

Hey JD, what about Charles Keating?? What about Meghan's trash talking against Republican’s on The View. Cindy seems to be a real friend of conservatives too. Amazing how there's liberal leaven in the whole McCain household and John keeps insisting he remains untouched and is a complete conservative.

McLame has had 32 years in the Senate. LONG ENOUGH!! He should “go quietly into that good night”.

Every time I hear one of those McCain campaign commercials come on that ends with "character matters" I feel like saying "Yeah, too bad McCain doesn't have any"

McCain was caught in the act taking money from Keating and helping him, McCain even confessed to it (of course it was somebody else's fault etc.) with JD it's just inuendo. They couldn't prove anything or they would have taken JD down, he was hated by McCain and his buddies because he fought illegal immigration.
