BlockBuster—Talk about a dead business model.

You can rent $1 DVDs from a machine at Walmart and the supermarket. You can stream a DVD from Amazon and Netflix. My public library has a vast selection of DVDs. You can reserve them over the internet

Same here..except for the reserve part. 3 days but if it’s a long weekend, no such thing as late fees. Last time I was there with my little sister, it opened at 10 am, and people rushed in just to get the Star Trek DVD.

You don't have to return it to the same machine ... or even the same town.
