WASHINGTON -- The gunman who shot two Pentagon police officers was heavily armed and spent weeks driving to the Capital area from the West Coast, authorities said Friday. Resentment of the U.S. government and suspicions over the 9/11 attacks have surfaced in writings by the Californian identified as the man fatally wounded in a hail of return fire.

5 feet away.
"Numerous shots" fired.
Two superficial wounds.

Just goes to show - leftists can't shoot... and that will make the revolution much safer for the good guys.

"He wasn't pretending to be anyone. He was wearing a coat and walked up and just started shooting."

It should be illegal to wear coats in Washington, D.C.

No discounting it, this guy was a left wing truther. He is not the only one to resort to violence however is is one of the first ones to use a gun to enforce his beliefs. You can bet that he will not be portrayed as a left winger in the media.

The user named JPatrickBedell wrote the Sabow case was "a step toward establishing the truth of events such as the September 11 demolitions."

With language like that , he's a Troofer for one thing.

A little background on this guy's name ~ which is why I realized instantly that he was probably "not a minority" ~ Bedell, or Beedel, or Bedle, or Bedele, or several dozen other spellings, is an occupation/trade name.

In France it meant the person who watched the spindles and replaced them as they ran empty. In Scandinavia it meant the fellow who served as chief proctor at a school ~ his job was to get the students to class, or beat down those who acted out against the professors.

Think of it as the job of placing wooden things (minds or tools) into holes.

The earliest appearance of the name in American history is some time in the 1500s.

Just one of the names I keep my eyes on ~ 5 of them among the ranks of the White Coats who were defeated by the Brits in Canada. They fled to Vincinnes. Those who were alive at the time joined up with George Rogers Clark's militia to fight in the American Revolution.

They all used different spellings.

I would hope no more Bedell family members pop up with this 9/11 "inside job" nonsense. It's just crazy.

“troofers’ and “birfers” - all the same kind of nuts, right?

The local news said he was "heavily armed with 2 nine milimeter pistols." I laughed out loud.

I guess these shooters aren't as effective when the intended victims are armed. I wonder if there's anything to learn from that.

"heavily armed with 2 nine milimeter pistols."

That's an oxymoron for sure. You know the guards had at least .40 cals.

Do not be surprised if background checks for gun purchases will be extended to all for cyber sleuthing.

HEAVILY ARMED with 9 millimeter pistols.

Of course, heavily armed to the press means a .22 revolver.
