Marxist Psychology Today Blogger Demonizes Tea Partiers as 'Paranoid'
NewsBusters ^ | March 8, 2010 | P.J. Gladnick

During the final years of the Soviet Union many political dissidents weren't sent to slave labor camps as happened in the bad old Stalin era if they weren't outright liquidated. Instead, their divergence from the official party line was viewed as some sort of mental disorder that must be treated, usually with forced confinement in mental institutions which were little more than prisons. And now we have a Marxist blogger for Psychology Today who proposes that Tea Party participants suffer from a mental disorder. The funniest thing is that when one reads the rantings of Michael Bader, he appears like Captain Queeg on the witness stand. The more he writes, the less rational he sounds. Take a look at just the first sentence of Bader's extended rant and guess who comes off as sanity challenged. BTW, the word "f---ers" in his primal scream article is fully spelled out:

These tea-party folks seem to most liberals-well, to most of us who live in the "reality community," or, as I like to call it, "reality"-like crazy f---ers.

Just because your gov’t is trying to have sex with you doesn’t mean you’re paranoid.

OTOH, leather lads who like to whip each other bloody before engaging in sodomy are perfectly normal to them, and should be grade school teachers and role models for our youth.

Things I learned in college:

#42: There is a direct correlation between an individual having an advanced degree in Psychology and being just plain nuts.

Makes me also pretty darn pissed off that for years the social society and liberal elites would diagnose Aspergers Syndrome as a mental illness and had all those committed to mental health care facilities.

Its an upper level autism, in other words those with Aspergers usually function better than most people, they just do it differently, and different scares those with firm beliefs in a socialized society, cannot have pink ants in a black ant hive can we now?

Paranoid, eh? Conservatives are not the ones trying to take over health care, running up trillion dollar deficits, pushing illegal alien amnesty, dissing our allies, trying to regulate nearly every aspect of the economy, taking over companies, distributing political payola to unions, violating contract law, etc. Those are FACTS, not paranoia!

Does this mean that noted Tea Party sympathizer Nancy Pelosi is also off her nut?

Pronoia is irrational, paranoia keeps you alive!

It's interesting to watch the "progressives" always claim a grasp of reality, and to support civil rights and freedom, while they walk around in LaLa land and build their little tyrannies!

Psychologically speaking, when one has to resort to using profanity to make a point it shows a mental deficiency in the ability to form a cohesive statement or sound argument to get ones point across. Basic debating skills 101.

Have you ever lurked over at the DUmp? Profanity is a requirement or you will be banned.

My husband has taught in a middle school for 19 years. The parents who have been the most difficult to work with have always been (non-Christian) psychologists.

One of his best friends is a Christian psychiatrist—belief in God is supremely rational and keeps one so, even in professional fields that tend to drift towards irrationality.

BTW, the word "f---ers" in his primal scream article is fully spelled out:

LOL!

'Primal scream' is right. I read that piece of drek. Bader should have titled it A Procialist's Primal Scream.

The guy's delusional if he thinks someones crazy just because they stand up for conservative values.

[BTW, a Procialist is a progressive Socialist]

It’s Psychology Today for cryin out loud. You can buy that in a supermarket along with Cosmo.

It is not an actual professional journal, which you can’t get in the grocery store.

Sometimes even a paranoid is right, someone is out to get them.
