He is either extremely right or extremely wrong for sure.
I think that’s wise.
However, it is the hour or two a day he is wrong that causes everyone grief...
Unfortunately true.
We got a nice little note from the government that we can expect our Census next week...wonder what it cost for them to send out these prewarnings? It’s all over the radio and TV, and in the newspapers why in the H did they need to mail us a prewarning letter, just another government WASTE of money.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they send a “have you received and mailed in your Census form yet?” mailing next month.
This is why Ron Paul is the most frustrating politician ever.
On stuff like this he is a hero.
The he starts talking about foriegn policy, Israel, the war on terror, and 9/11 and he turns from hero to loon.
That’s next! Any thing to waste tax $$.
Our wasteful gov’t sent us a letter yesterday to tell us that next week we’ll get the Census in the mail.
How much did it cost the taxpayers to send out letters to tell us that the following week the gov’t will send out another letter???
DORKS.
The Ads for the Census on radio and TV are annoying as well.
DORKASAURUS REXES.
What a waste of money.
Just give us the damn Census and STFU!!!
End of Rant.
Thank you Rep. Paul.
The only one...sad.
I'm going with Amish. They're exempt from Commiecare.
“Hes actually frustratingly right on a fair amount of stuffand disastrously wrong on too much else!”
A RINO will find this quote, quote you to the dash, and the next time you disagree with their liberalism, they’ll call you a Paultard.
You are exactly right.
He’s right when he agrees with me. He’s wrong when he disagrees with me. That seems to be the reasoning of many here.
Some of us say big government is incompetent in every area of society ... except in the area that is our personal agenda.
Anti illegal immigrant voices advocate a big government solution to immigration. When the INS fails they cry for creation a big ICE. When it fails they say it needs more money, more power and more intrusiveness in our lives.
Pro-Nation building voices say central planning does not work in the USA. But we should impose a big central planning government on Iraq and Afghanistan.
One of my motivations for staying libertarian (small l) is that I saw big government incompetence and waste when I worked for LBJ/McNamara/Westmoreland in Vietnam.
Filled out mine yesterday. Enclosed a copy of the Article of the Constitution, highlighting “Enumeration”, and only answered how many people live here. I’ll let you all know what happens.
Exactly. This is one case where I agree with Paul. I have agreed with him on several of his economic statements as well.
As for the things he is wrong on - he is scarily wrong.
Excellent point!
It hasn't been too long since he was being called a loon for his economic and individual liberty views.
I suspect he's just as right about foreign policy and the WOT as he is about everything else.
I just heard one that ended about “change is in the air”. What a bunch of #$%@%@!
