That has been suggested, however no one has provided any source for the statement. I can't see where it makes any difference at this point. We have a bunch of folks in the US who supported Obama who are now regretting it.
She obviously doesn't support him now, and I invite anyone who has a better source of on-the-ground happenings in Zimbabwe to please post it on this thread with updates.

Yep. She and her father, as well as her husband, were liberal activists who, 30+ years ago, worked to throw the evil white imperialists out of prosperous Rhodesia and turn the former "breadbasket of Africa" over to its "rightful owners".

Do you have a source for your post? I haven't been able to find anything regarding that.
Buckle’s father was an activist lawyer in Rhodesia. Frankly, I don’t remember where I first read about Buckle’s background (it’s been many years) but Clive may know more about it than I do. He posted Cathy’s letters for several years here.
