I called the Washington number and got through to Mike Arcuri’s office. So, the Washington lines appear to be unjammed at the moment.

There are two outcomes here...One she gets a base hit, and they win, or we strike them out at the plate...
A pretty good analogy except for one thing. Pelosi has already taken her three swings and they keep changing the rules to give a fourth, fifth . . . swing. They plan on changing changing the rules until she either ekes out a base hit or tires of swinging.
Sounds similar to the way in which “The One” received all of those foreign campaign contributions. I like it!

Did you receive the same “but the overwhelming percentage of Americans favor health care reform” b.s.? that I got when I called my rep? I called them out on that garbage - cited real poll numbers on THIS bill - not the generic “do you want health care reform”? I started asking specific questions about specific language in the bill. The young person on the phone got snippy and said “he wasn’t familiar with the specific language”. Great, deem a bill to pass that you don’t know what it contains.

I know 3 doctors younger than me that have thrown it all in this year. They have seen the future and know it is scary.
I’m in informatics. We have a LOT of MDs who see the writing on the wall and are trying to get ahead of the curve.
Now, I don't doubt that a lot of members have their phones turned off and they have their mailboxes full.Interesting statement.
It's coming from all over as you can see by some of the threads here at FR.
Yesterday on the Cavuto show, he had on a couple of Tea Party activists.
They both said they had been to over a dozen offices, and in some of them the phones were off the hook.
Cavuto was surprised to get this information, and quizzed the people carefully to see if that was what they were saying.
They both confirmed it, and Cuvato treated it as news alert type information
Oh, and during the time he had them on, he called the number and it always came up with a busy tone.
So not only did it shut down the switchboard, but our "employees" in Washington were purposefully making it impossible to hear from any of us that hired them by voting them into office to serve us.
Cuvato will be doing his show from DC on Friday, should be interesting.
