Whether or not this socilalist healthcare takeover bill passes,we must not be distracted from the ultimate goal of retaking our country. On the Ohio boards we`ve been discussing undertaking a freeper volunteer drive. The idea is not only to recruit from amoung us but to recruit from neighbors, friends, and family.
Our candidates will need "foot soldiers",people willing to go out and canvass neighborhoods, make calls, hand out literature, act as election officials,in short, provide the labor for the groundwork needed to push our people to victory in the next election. Will you pitch in?
We as individuals must commit to recruiting the people power needed on a local level for both state and federal candidates. We can try to organize on forums like this but ultimately its the spirit of individual freedom and the desire for local activism that motivates us.Freedom is not free, will you commit to defending it with a few hours of your time? I found info on my state`s candidates here http://www.uselections.com/oh/oh.htm (I hope the links work) try using http://www.dogpile.com or some other search engine if you please,go to their web sites or call the candidates and get involved.
My links don`t seem to work, could someone fix them? Thanks for the OK Mr. Robinson.
This is the link sent to me by the Barky minions stating the number of donated hours they say they have http://advocacy.barackobama.com/healthcare/campaigns/18/call_scripts/68/call_sessions/new?district=OH17&cd=OH17&source=2010032_FM_Half
A lot of these campaigns can use computer-literate help and also people who understand grassroots and internet activism. Adcock isn't even in my Congressional District, but I live in the 2nd which is a lost cause (Chaka Fattah) - so I'm volunteering in the neighboring district.
Dee addressed the Tea Party rally when Obama came to Arcadia University to shill for health care, and he went to DC yesterday to be part of the rallies.
Find a Tea Party candidate and start volunteering NOW.
Way to go.I have no doubt they need techies but never underestimate the power of old fashioned footwork.Have you posted an appeal on your state`s board?
Haven’t posted on the state board yet, want to work with the campaign on any such action. And yes, the ground game will be vital and they are setting it up.
I live in the 2nd also, and would like nothing better than to try to unseat Chaka Fattah. Do you think the working class wards might have “had enough” of this parasite? It would be nice to see a challenger go against him. I’ll see what I can find out.
There is a challenger to Bob Brady in the 1st. I like her and am thinking of volunteering for her. See www.votepia.com and let me know what you think.
I can't see Fattah losing, he's in a very safe district, but one can hope, can't they?
IMO unfortunately Pia Varma is gonna have a hard time surviving the petition challenge filed against her - she only has 1,141 signatures, so if just over ten percent are invalid, she's toast, and she hasn't hired an attorney to help in the fight. Dee Adcock has over 2,700 so he should be safe - the Dems play dirty, and you need a good cushion to stay on the ballot.
Unfortunate. I really like this woman; she is fearless, and just what we need. When I was in Washington on Tuesday, I was tempted to put a votepia.com post it note on Brady’s door!
