Washington (CNN) -- President Obama on Tuesday signed into law a sweeping health care reform bill, the nation's most substantial social legislation in four decades, achieving a top priority of his administration.
Greeted by applause from enthusiastic supporters, he said, "Today after almost a century of trying; today, after over a year of debate; today, after all the votes have been tallied, health insurance reform becomes law in the United States of America."
The president said he is confident the Senate will improve the health care reform law swiftly. He said some health care reforms will take some time to phase in, but others will "take effect right away."

He's going to the Kennedy Space Center on April 15 to expound on his great new ideas for the space program = the one that will put 7,000 of them at the base out of work in Sept and result in 36,000 losing their jobs in the area (businesses dependent on the Space center) plunging the area in to 15-20% unemployment - while he has instructed NASA to send the saved money to ‘predominantly Muslim countries, starting with Indonesia (the country he considers home)...to train them and bring them into the space industry - teach them how to build rockets too - how many more Irans?

This group is so screwing the Congress. Remember just a couple of days ago with demon pass. The whole purpose was to make certain the Senate would pass the fix bill. Guess what. Doesn't looks like anyone cares anymore. Bill is passed and nothing else to see here.
The White House is happy with the Senate bill and no energy will be put in to get the fix bill approved in the Senate (as is) or back in the House if the Senate makes any changes. And, no one will call him out on it.
Priceless. Our only hope is that they will remember this when he crams through cap and tax and amnesty. (Wishful thinking)

You can get your TV free online - turned my satellite off in Jan 2009. (They will give you at least a 6 month 'extension on suspension" so's you "won't lose your account and can have it turned back on . they "extened my 6-months" 3 x's now, in hopes of luring me back. Nope. gonna keep that money.) Love that money in MY pocket - now watch my news free and my shows without commercials - so only half the time to watch - and watch them on MY time schedule. (Isave up 3-4 weeks of "24" so's I can watch them all in a row ;o)...)

We were able to watch Fox news live up until about a month ago. All other news outlets are still available - but FOX has been been blocked for live showing. Hmmm? But a day late is still better then the others and CHEAPER than paying for cable/satellite...(and you can still get on time clips on the net)
