Huge crowds expected for McCain-Palin event
The East Valley Tribune, Phoenix, Ariz. ^ | 2010-03-23 | Mike Sakal

Campaign staff and volunteers of Sen. John McCain and his former vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin are preparing for the pair’s appearance at Mesa’s Dobson High School on Saturday.

A spokesman for the camp offered a bit of advice for those wanting to get in: “Folks should get there early,” said Brian Rogers, McCain’s communications director. The event is free, on a first-come, first-served basis and does not require a ticket.

Also speaking at a rally in Tucson on Friday, the appearances are McCain and Palin’s first ones together at a public event since their concession speech in the 2008 presidential race.

Their appearance comes just four days after President Barack Obama signed a $938 billion health care reform bill. McCain has been an outspoken critic of the bill and plans to lead an effort to repeal it.

Palin, the former governor of Alaska, is stumping for McCain. She will speak about McCain’s values and what she learned from him during their 2008 presidential campaign and through his battles against his own party line, Rogers said.

McCain will speak about what he appreciates in Palin’s leadership, and speak out against what he believes are misguided priorities in the White House including government overspending, his concerns for the 17 percent unemployment rate in Arizona and the state’s home foreclosure problem as 48 percent of homeowners in Arizona are under water, according to Rogers.

So what you prove what I said the EPA was created in the 1970’s when Democrats had a majority in Congress.

Bush nor Republicans did not grow the government.

If they did then show the numbers of government workers in relation to population before Bush and after Bush. And show a significant increase ok ? if you can’t then you make a fool of yourself .and that goes for the rest of you brainwashed puppets of the media who don’t understand that inflation is not government growth , that military spending for 2 wars is not government growth and so on.

You are so blinded by wanting to hate the GOP, the one thing that could stop the democrat/Marxists from turning the U.S. into a socialist state. wel enjoy living in a socialist state becaus you chose to not vote Republican or stayed home or bashed Republicans. just fyi all peoples in every fully socialist state have been starving skeletons and slaves of the government. Look up the killing fields of Cambodia to see what you have done with your lies.

McCain, Bush, Giuliani, Huckabee, Romney, and Graham were all pro-illegals.

And Jon Kyl. And I'm sure there are a few others.

And I want them all defeated in their next elections.

Conservatives support Sarah Palin

Really? Which ones would they be? The McCain Conversatives? The Lindsey Graham conservatives?

I'm new at the alter of Divine Sarah worship, so I haven't figured out all the rules (I have learned that its NOT really a RINO even if Sarah supports it ... then its a SARAH-CONSERVATIVE!)

So what you prove what I said the EPA was created in the 1970’s when Democrats had a majority in Congress.

And it was proposed and championed by the Republican Nixon before Congress jumped in on the action.

Bush nor Republicans did not grow the government.

Under Bush, Federal Spending Increases at Fastest Rate in 30 Years

If they did then show the numbers of government workers in relation to population before Bush and after Bush. And show a significant increase ok ?

Bush and the Republicans in Congress added trillions to the Federal deficit. And that's not counting long-term liabilities created by programs such as Medicare Part D. Now, if that's not growth of government, then I don't know what is.

wel enjoy living in a socialist state becaus you chose to not vote Republican or stayed home or bashed Republicans.

Aw, blame the voter for your own incompetence.

I don’t know of any Sarah Palin supporters who support McCain or Lindsey Graham, but perhaps you can name them for me and all of us.

The Graham-Schumer bill is co-sponsored by a Republican.

The Graham-Schumer bill is largely a repeat of a previous bill sponsored by another Republican, one John McCain.

I’m a conservative...I wouldn’t show up to see Palin if you paid me. As far as I’m concerned, she and McShamnesty are two peas in a pod and with her continued support of him, she deserves every bit of the rejection she gets, and more.

All of JD’s earmarks x 50 wouldn’t equal the 2003 10 billion global warming bill McCain helped put into law.

“If Bush grew the government than show how Bush grew the number of government employees in relation to population.”

AGAIN.... WHAT DO YOU CALL THE LARGEST EXPANSION IN ENTITLEMENTS SINCE LBJ’S GREAT SOCIETY (at least prior to last Sunday) IF NOT GROWING GOVERNMENT!

I’m not the one brainwashed. The number of government non-military employees is not the normal “government growth” metric used. Reach and spending are.

“inflation, 2 wars ,military speding ,population growth.

“how does it feel to be the puppet of liberals/marxists/democrats who control the media?”

I wouldn’t know. How does it feel to be Karl Rove’s sock puppet?

Since you want to do what I say, then quit acting like a child and making up nonsense in your mind and thinking that it sounds witty or cutting, it only sounds childish.

Or the massive $700+ Billion fascist bailout McCain voted for in 2008.

Yeah, I guess if you’re inhumane and don’t
have a Christian or compassionate heart for
those in totally primitive and helpless 3rd
world nations, with dozens of thousands of
adults and children .. dying for want of the
simplest of remedies, it’s easy to scoff at
those who are humane and don’t easily turn
their backs on a plague of needless suffering
and death, if they can make a difference.

After all, it’s just thousands of strangers’
lives .. a million miles away from your
important concerns.

Pres. Bush made a difference for many millions
of people. I’ll always be grateful for his
relentless intrepidity and resolve in keeping
us safe from another terror attack here, among
so many other reasons.

You sleep easier with -0 in the White House?

Commentary: Bush saved 10 million lives

###

A legacy of President George W. Bush will be that he saved 10 million lives around the world.

His critics ignore it, but name another president about whom one can say that with such certainty. It is what historians will say a decade from now looking back. Not bad for a president who leaves office with the lowest approval rating in recent memory.

*snip*

Before Bush acted, the nation’s 43 million seniors did not have affordable access to prescription drugs (the most powerful tool a doctor has to prevent and treat disease) through the Medicare program. Today, because of George Bush, they do.

Initially, conservatives howled because the prescription drug initiative “cost too much.” Liberals hated it because it involved the markets and competition. But today, 23 million seniors live healthier lives, Medicare drug spending has been 20 percent to 30 percent less than predicted for each of the past two years and seniors overwhelmingly give the program enthusiastic reviews.

And, in addition, the program is highly redistributive — giving advantages the poorest, introducing preventive care to Medicare, encouraging electronic prescribing and introducing chronic disease management.

“What about Republicans stopped Amnesty for illegals don’t you understand. One man does not equal all Republicans get it?”

What does the leadership of the GOP SUPPORTING and PUSHING AMNESTY don’t you get? They’re STILL DOING IT. All the frontrunners in the 2008 primary SUPPORTED IT. That’s why it wasn’t an issue in the last election. BECAUSE BOTH SIDES AGREED ON IT!
