I've known Ron Kolb since 2004 - he tracked down an interview with former VVAW leader Scott Camil in which Camil described his proposal to murder US Senators during the group's April 1971 rally in Washington. Camil recalled that John Kerry "flipped out" at the suggestion. Nevertheless, Kerry continued to work closely with Camil for the rest of that year...

This is the first time Ron's remarkable research into Murtha's role in ABSCAM has been publicly recognized. Without his work, I have little doubt that John Murtha would have become House Majority Leader.

I think Kolb did America a huge service and hope there is another Abscam soon.

Maybe he can even find Barry’s Long Form Birth Certificate, Travel Records, etc.

Massa was best buds with Murtha. Now he’s “out” so to speak, where and what is he doing. He had to have some connection to this scam. He may have still been in the Navy, though.

VIETNAM VETERANS AGAINST THE WAR (VVAW)
STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
NOVEMBER 12, 13, 14, 1971
INTERNAL SECURITY — NEW LEFT

...from link below

The general meeting on Saturday, November 13, 1971, started at 9:00 a.m. and was held in a church, the Institute for Human Studies, near 40th and Main Streets, Kansas City. The first day and part of the second day was spent establishing order. There were numerous interruptions and discussions and very little order during that period.

On Saturday morning MIKE OLIVER, a VVAW national leader from New York, acted as chairman and recognized persons wishing to speak from the floor.

JOHN KERRY, a VVAW national leader from Massachusetts, arrived and spoke to the committee. He resigned from the executive committee of VVAW for "personal reasons" but added he would still be active in VVAW and available to speak for the organization.

Steve Gilbert was the first to expose Kerry's involvement in the VVAW's assassination discussions and his dealings with the North Vietnamese and Vietcong delegations in Paris.
