You did’t read my earlier post and Sarah’s views on illegals
__________________________________________________________

Palin expands her position on Illegal Immigration

Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.

It’s pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders.

You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

December 2009
Lars Larson radio talk show

LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress — in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?

SARAH PALIN: No, I’m not for amnesty. Let’s ratchet this down quite simply to remember what we’re referring to. Illegal aliens are called “illegal” for a reason.

We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out

There is a time for fighting hard core conservative values and then there is a time for someone who can charge an emplaced fort and prevail.

The latter is needed.

We need strength, honor, and a desire to target absolute corruption. I never saw Palin as a Reagan. She is closer to Teddy Roosevelt and Margaret Thatcher. Smart, gritty, and willing to stop the political machine. It ends up like Reagan (smaller government, weakened Washington, stronger America) but she is not the social conservative some may think her to be (policy-wise). She would be a modern day ‘trust buster’ .

Yep, I’ve read the handwriting on the wall. A real shame too. There’s no other state with the diversity of geography here in CA.

I think I noted something was up when McCain suddenly got his “come back kid” moment. I knew something was up and not good. I can agree he likely was ment to loose....I also knew Hillary and Bo made a deal...she promised him the Latino vote along the way...and no way was Nancy Pelosi going to have Hillary upstage her place. She is one vile beast!

I’m not sure McCain will remain for Amnesty...he’s slipping around on the issue now....but once back in the Senate he’ll probably vote for it. I soooo oppose amnesty for obvious reasons.

You’re on Sarah’s ping list. Hard to tell by the title, but the article is linked to her speech she gave tonight.

Did you even read the article?

It's a special op-ed published in today's Republic.

So...which Palin quote is to be believed? Her 2009 statement is strong but the Univision one is troubling. Its like Lou Dobbs, in reverse

It’s a real shame. Government union pensions along with the illegals and loads and loads of entitlements and enviromental restrictions, obnoxious and unnecessary bureaucracies and so on and so forth.

Oh, he’ll vote for it if not co-author it. Just like Cap-n-Trade. It’ll be “bipartisan” with his “friends”. Right now, the Dems own this economic/liberty disaster. If McCain wasn’t facing a primary challenger, he’d be helping them by giving them GOP backup.

You were saying ...

Doesn't change the fact that a vote for McCain was a vote for a liberal.

Well, now the truth is coming out... all these people who are against Palin were also against McCain in the last election -- and are the ones whom we can thank, very much, for Obama....

Great work, guys... for the Marxist, liberal leftist candidate ... LOL ... did you get good seats at the inauguration?
