Thank you for defending women's health!
Dear xxxx,
As we told you last week, the two remaining anti-choice budget amendments were stripped from HB30. While the budget conference committee meets behind closed doors, we know that several of our legislative champions fought hard for Planned Parenthood. Both Gov. McDonnell and A.G. Cuccinelli have vowed to do everything in their power to strip Planned Parenthood of state funding, so this victory is particularly important!
TAKE ACTION: Please thank these legislators now!
OR call them to say thank you:
Senator Janet Howell (D-32): (703) 709-8283
Senator Edward Houck (D-17): (540) 786-2782
Senator Richard Saslaw (D-35): (703) 978-0200
Send a letter to the following decision maker(s): Senator Janet Howell (if you live in Virginia) Senator R. Edward Houck (if you live in Virginia) Senator Richard Saslaw (if you live in Virginia)
Below is the sample letter:
Subject: Thank you for protecting women's health
Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],
In an economic climate where the state is in a deficit and the health care system is insufficient, I am so pleased that you protected the women and men who rely on Planned Parenthood to meet their health care needs. It is not only good public policy but a sound investment in the future of the Commonwealth.
With members of statewide government targeting safety net providers like Planned Parenthood, I feel so lucky to have a champion like yourself fighting for me at the Virginia General Assembly.
Again, thank you for standing up for women's health!
Sincerely,
When did abortion become re-defined as a matter of “women’s health”?
It seems like many on the left don’t even say the word “abortion” very much. They say they are “pro choice” without saying what choice is involved. And they talk about “women’s health”, or “reproductive health”, to make it sound like they are simply talking about routine medical procedures that women have.

yeah...call them and “thank” them for supporting THIS.
EDUCATE THEM.
They are trying to embed acceptance of baby murder so deeply into the public psyche that the public won’t bat an eye when “acceptance” of baby murder as a “health” issue turns to enforced baby murder as a means of population control.
Excellent point. I shudder to think what my young children may face when they begin their families. May God have mercy.
