(CNN) – Sen. John McCain is not letting the memory of Sarah Palin's recent visit to Arizona slip away. In fact, McCain is highlighting the former Alaska governor's two campaign stops in a new, fast moving Web video that promotes her support for his Senate re-election bid.

McCain's campaign released a 1 minute and 37 second video Monday of Palin and McCain on the campaign trail – bringing back memories of their 2008 White House bid. Now, McCain is facing a primary challenge from former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, who claims the Arizona senator is not conservative enough.

Interesting how McCain has to tie his campaign around Sarah. He would most likely be toast by himself. Go JD.

And the shameless little weasel will not care one whit how much all this might damage Sarah’s future prospects.

Hopefully it won’t hinder her...It shouldn’t; she’s pretty resiliant...

The murder of a AZ rancher by an illegal yesterday will not do well for him.

I, too, hope it won’t; but, actions have consequences.

That is indeed a conservative principle, that actions have consequences.

It's not Sarah who will decide, but her supporters and potential supporters who will made her endorsement of Juan and association with his views part of their assessment of her.

Hey Rabs!!! Here's a little news flash for ya!

Not even JD himself is going to fall for the usual 'Palin is the enemy' crap. Even HE gets it.

BLITZER: You know that Sarah Palin who was his running mate says she's going to support John McCain and try to get him that nomination instead of you. How do you feel about that?

HAYWORTH: Well, I think we all understand the impulse of gratitude in politics and obviously Senator McCain, one of the decisions I applaud him for was putting Sarah Palin on the ticket. I think it gave great excitement to the Republican base and I can understand why she's coming here. But what's interesting, Wolf, in the social media, as I understand it, there's a new page on Facebook, Sarah Palin fans for JD but in the final analysis, it's not Sarah Palin from Alaska, It's Sarah Boyd in Scottsdale and others like her. Arizonans will decide who will be the next senator from this great state.

And there's this gem from JD:

VIDEO:"I look forward to having Mrs. Palin's support following the primary on August 24th."

With any luck, they’ll have the same results as 2008. A crushing defeat

McCain knows his only chance is to hold on tight to Sarah’s skirt. I hope he loses.

I’ve said it more than once, where is Lieberman, Graham and Megan? He had no problem running around the country two years ago with them, what’s different about Arizona that he needs Palin.

I think if I were running against him I’d be on this like white on rice.
