This is a song I wrote. I wish I’d never had reason to write it. It sums up all my feelings with what is happening in our great nation today. The song is a 60’s style guitar driven rock song. I figured if one is going to write a”protest”song,then it needs to rock!
I am heartsick like all of you. I think of our children and grand-children. What kind of future will they have if we don’t take a stand?
I think of all the young men and women who gave their all for our freedom. Their lives,their bodies,their minds.
Not in my worst nightmare could I ever imagine what is happening now. America,a communist nation? NEVER!!!!
The light at the end of the tunnel is that there are millions of us who believe in the founding principals set forth in our constitution! The heartbeat of our great republic still beats strong!
