MOUNT DORA A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care "elsewhere."
"I'm not turning anybody away that would be unethical," Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it."
The sign reads: "If you voted for Obama
seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years."

Poll: OK for doctor to protest health-care bill by shunning Obama voters?
And so it begins...
I love it!!! good for him
Damn. Before posting this, I did a search on the word “elsewhere”, and it came up nothing.
Actually, what's unethical is doctors accepting payment from a source they have reason to believe confiscated it from unwilling people (i.e. taxpayers, or any private business that is being regulated into paying for things that it never freely agreed to pay for).
Good for this doctor!
Did a search on ‘Dora’ and both articles came up.
Good job by this doctor.
So now what do we do? :-)

Here's the article, and a poll to FReep:

Why is it unethical to turn away a thief, doc?
Good for him alright. Now let’s see how long it takes for someone to sue him based on their “right” to health care. This is what I’ve been pounding on for months. His right to practice medicine, ie run his business, the way he wants to will be challenged. That outcome in the courts could decide whether we have individual rights or collective rights. Whether we are now a free country or a communist party.
I’ve noticed that before myself. Colons seem to throw the search function off. I think as soon as it sees a colon, it stops searching.
But it’s just fine for patients to impose their political views on doctors by voting them into socialism.
31% have no problem condemning the doctor to slavery. That’s how I read the poll as the numbers stand.
