Flight surgeon threatens to refuse deployment over Obama birth certificate flap

WASHINGTON — An Army flight surgeon could face reprimand or dismissal from the service after stating in an online video that he’ll refuse deployment to Afghanistan because of concerns he has about President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, chief of primary care for the Pentagon’s health clinic, released a statement through the American Patriot Foundation saying his decision is based on “pursuit of the truth about the president’s eligibility under the constitution to hold office.”

Army officials said Lakin has not yet violated any direct orders, but his statements have been brought to commanders’ attention for review.

“They have a wide range of options to consider — no action, administrative action, or even recommendation of dismissal,” Army spokesman George Wright said. “It’s for his command to determine.”

Lakin, an 18-year soldier, last served overseas in 2005 during a tour with the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Squadron, 25th Infantry Division in Afghanistan.

What someone needs to do is to leak the REAL BC or proof that Obozo wasn’t born in the USA and let the chips fall where they may. Obama won’t be able to hide the truth forever. It WILL come out eventually.

I predict that NOTHING will come of this as the Army has no doubt received orders from "On High" (as in the FASCIST, Community-Agitator-in-Least or one of his Chicago Thug Enforcers, posing as advisers, such as "Rhambo" Emanuel) to let this die a quiet death, less any action might lead to a Courts Martial or other sanctions requiring Dear Leader produce his Birth Certificate and that is the last thing they want, much less and negative publicity.

Now if only we could get a few more brave souls to act in the same manner.......

I don't necessarily subscribe to the "birthers" belief that the Messiah, was not born in Hawaii, but I am CONVINCED that there something he does not want made public, otherwise, he would not be hiding (and going to the extremes he has to keep it a secret) the details surrounding his birth, as well as EVERY other single document surrounding his youth and education.

I agree. The people who rally against the ‘birthers’ seem to have little understanding of how if the Constitution’s requirement for President is violated it undermines the whole of the Chain of Command; because the Constitution itself assigns the role of Commander In Chief to the President.

Various anecdotal evidence I’ve read points to a Kenyan birth. Any “evidence” pointing to a HI birth is either very doubtful, known to be a lie (two hospitals claimed), or not a shred of evidence at all (crickets chirping category). There is actually a large amount of anecdotal evidence that he was born in Kenya - RaceBannon’s account is but one.

The COLB from HI [sic] posted on the internet by 0kaka’s peeps has more wrong with it than the one Lucas Smith claimed to find in Kenya.

I agree with you. I think there is a good chance that Obama was really born in Hawaii, but there must be something else going on. Perhaps he gave up citizenship when he was adopted by his Muslim stepfather...or perhaps the argument that his mother wasn’t old enough to confer citizenship on him at the time he was born is solid and Barry Soetoro knows it. It is peculiar to me that we don’t even know which of the two names he has used is valid. He has provided no proof one way or the other. Its a mark of the arrogance and massive ego of this “long legged mack daddy” that he is thumbing his nose at the American people. It is especially astonishing to me that his supporters are so blindly ignorant that they don’t eve question his status. Simply put...nobody knows the truth, either way, despite the rabid claims to the countrary.
