It's guts ball time for an Army surgeon who has vowed not to deploy to Afghanistan with his unit unless President Obama provides evidence that he's a "natural born" citizen of the United States.
In response to previously published statements by Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, the Army presented an official letter of counseling that directs him to report to Fort Campbell, Ky., on April 12 to begin deployment preparations with his unit.

Court martial for violation of several of the punitive articles of the UCMJ. Followed by dismissal from the service if convicted, loss of pension, possibly time in Leavenworth.

Discovery of what? He's going to be charged with disobeying orders of his commanding officer or some other officer in the chain-of-command, missing movement, and probably some other UCMJ violations as well. What's going to be uncovered in that?

Do you mean to say that there are things we don’t know about our prez? Wouldn’t we want to know that the POTUS is NOT an Al-Qaida agent? (Remember his many mysterious trips to Pakistan earlier in his life?) Not knowing the true identity of the POTUS is comparable to a ship without a rudder. What direction is he taking us?
Shouldn’t the colonel and all those being deployed have the right to know especially when their lives are put on the line?

Phil Cave, a retired Navy judge advocate general who now practices military law as a civilian, said that even if Lakin does decide to deploy as scheduled, the Army still may be able to prosecute him. Under Article 88, Cave said, a servicemember can be charged for making disrespectful comments or remarks about the president.
Cave believes that Lakin’s supporters in the birther movement hope that a court-martial will give defense attorneys the authority to seek, through discovery, other documents to help make their case.
“They think that by using [servicemembers in a court-martial] they can get discovery like you could in any criminal prosecution,” he said. “That ain’t gonna happen. They’re not going to have discovery where they’re going to get the president to produce a birth certificate because, I’m reasonably certain, no military judge, no appellate court and no federal court, and no U.S. Supreme Court is going to say they have a right to get that as a matter of discovery.”
So your belief that he is making a mistake is funny to you? You think it’s funny to call the man a ‘birther’ and a ‘cuckoo’?
I don’t think it’s funny at all. The man is a patriot willing to risk everything to stand up for our constitution. I wish there were more men and women like him in this country.
I shudder when I think of the many times that I was deployed to fight in the battle of the chow line.
Tell that to Connie Rhodes. She tried suing to block deployment claiming Obama was illegitimate. The judge tossed her suit and she wound up in the sandbox anyway.
Who is leading all these people down the primrose path? Orly Taitz? If you stopped 100 normal people on the street, I doubt if 1 of them would know the name. How can the so-called “birther” leaders be Cassandras when their message never sees the light of day in the MSM?

Obama is not a natural born citizen as per 17th century America refers to in Art II Section 1.
Thus he is not eligible yet Democratics refuse to follow the constitution.
