A lawyer from Alabama has decided not to speak at a Tea Party rally in Wausau next Thursday, after organizers questioned his views on white supremacy. Attorney John Eidsmoe was planning to speak along with former State Supreme Court candidate Randy Koschnick and others at one of many Tea Party rallies on the April 15th deadline for filing tax returns. But Koschnick questioned Eidsmoes credentials after learning about his background from the Associated Press.
Eidsmoe has reportedly spoken to groups that oppose racial integration, including one that believes slavery is ordained by God. Tea Party organizer Meg Ellefson said Koschnick had legitimate concerns, and she then contacted Eidsmoe and he agreed to pull out of the rally.
