Republican congressional leaders are criticizing President Barack Obama for bulldozing them on financial regulatory legislation.

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) exited a White House meeting on the issue Wednesday and charged that the White House had ordered Democratic senators to pull out of bipartisan talks on an issue where Democrats believe they have the advantage.

GOP MUST be one step ahead of America’s enemies within this Congress and this Regime 24/7. Expose the treason being perpetrated upon the American people; specifically name names and call for a Special Prosecutor.

Just stop “working” with these bas-tards. You ARE being used and shunted aside when its convenient.

Fight them tooth and nail and insist on YOUR agenda LOUDLY. [Remember how they did you?]

Be proud to be the party of Hell No! The majority of We the People WANT that.

This is a place the Democrats can pick up momentum. The average American has no clue what Wall Street does, they just know they’re evil, (ok, so that part isn’t totally wrong).

If the Dems hammer Wall Street with regulation, most Americans will be happy, and the State Controlled Media will cheer, as well as provide cover.

A downturn on Wall Street, and corresponding problems with 401k’s and pensions won’t be tied to stupid regulation.

The Republicans have to be ready with a better proposal for going forward in this area. Thanks in advance, to anyone, with any info.

They have a loophole. Give it up McConnell.

You guys ceded relevancy about 8 years ago.

I think Republicans can successfully oppose this as an attack on the free market and demonization of the business community. It’s another attempt by the Kenyan to impose government control.

“Reid said Republicans have tried to obstruct almost every piece of legislation Obama and Democrats have pushed for, and that financial reforms are no different.”

well, let’s hope so!

I really do want the Repubs to be the party of NO.

IMO, a great deal of the positive action in the stock market is the realization that Dodd wrote the new rules. New banking regulations simply mean another set of “no penalty” “guidelines” that banks will now be able to work around.

It’s real until it isn’t.

the GOP DC elites have yet to realize that registered Democrats are enemies of the United States and the US Constitution.
