...If Patrick wins, I’m happier than if Baker wins.

That's basically McLame's attitude.And Hussein's.

Great. Enjoy casting a vote for a transgender activist.

The party didn’t learn the lesson with Swift or Healey. They still think they can appoint a RINO and we’re going to vote for whoever. It’s disgusting. A vote for Baker is money in the pockets of the party bosses.

Lesser of two evils my friend. That's what Massachusetts politics has been about for the last 40 years. If Baker is even a tiny bit less despicable than the RAT (which,I'll wager,he would be) I'll vote for him.

And you can rejoice when Coupe Deval,a grinning, unapologetic Maoist,is reelected with 31% of the vote.

I will, thanks. But I fear that Patrick will win 60% of the vote, because Baker is such a stooge.

I share you view, it really doesn’t matter. Baker would be no better than a dem, and in some ways worse, because he has the r next to his name. No idea what on earth he or the party is thinking regarding Tisei.

It’s hard to call yourself a conservative and vote for Baker.

Do you think many Republicans, Tea Partiers included, will fall for Cahill’s trick?

Can't be sure.I haven't seen any poll numbers...other than Coupe Deval's approval ratings in the 20's.Given Cahill's visibility I fear that he could pull a good percentage of the anti-Deval vote.Which was the whole idea in the first place.

My dear friend, I am willing to join you and die for our country, but not to become the foolish useful instruments of the devils who aim to destroy the very notion of our republic which we so revere. The coming election is no normal run-of-the-mill kind of a process. It is the very life and soul of our country that’s on the line. What do I care about the arrangement of the furniture when our house is on fire. We must together, UNITED, save the house first, kick the bums and the communist rats out, and then clean house, in that order, NOT the other way around.

I think in the end, you like me will get this, and will vote accordingly.

Good day!
______________________

Dear Sir [or Madam] Parisa:

I am quite glad it is a decision I don’t have to make at this particular point. Those in Massachusetts, I suppose, do. My prayers for ALL of you — and us, as a result.

I was active in the Republican Party until 1996. I resigned my position as precinct executive committeeman in my state because of the pathetic failure of the Republicans under then House Speaker Newt Gingrich to stand up to Bill Clinton after he shut down the Gov’t in 1995 and blamed THEM. AND, because then Gov. David Beasley in Soutn Carolina (my state of residence) betrayed several campain promises he made - one personally to my face - in the midst of his first term.

Truth be known, I’ve always been a CONSERVATIVE activist first, and when Ronald Reagan was President, it was pretty easy to be a Republican, because Conservatism was tolerated in the Republican establishment. When Reagan left, except for a short period during and just after the 1994 elections, Republicans haven’t been Conservative, haven’t stood for Conservatism, and haven’t LIKED Conservative principles for nearly a generation.

So, yes, I’ll stand on principle. You can bet when Lindsey Grahamnesty comes up for reelection in 2014, I’ll vote AGAINST him again, in the primary AND in the general (even the Democrat was more conservative than Grahamnesty!). If I have a Constitutionalist, or a Pro-life Libertarian, or Independent I can support, great. But I vote principle — NOT party.

George Washington noted in his final farewell address as President that though “[political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”

Unprincipled men and women is what I’ve seen in BOTH political parties for the most part in the last 2 decades. Where I find a PRINCIPLED man or woman, I will support, campaign and vote for them. Where I find only party labels, slick talking points and empty suits, no, thank you.

History tells us that most of our Founders died poor and broke — but they created the greatest country on earth. That’s what happens when “we pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor,” is it not? And why should we think we are any better in RE-creating out country than our Founders were in creating it in the first place?

The defeat of the British and the founding of the USA were accomplished by the uniting of a wide variety of factions toward common objectives. In that unifying process, the founders had to constantly b!tch-slap a whole bunch of "principled" clerics, each of whom demanded that the war be fought according to, and based on, their "principles", and that the Constitution be written according to, and based on, their "principles".

The communists who currently control our entire government are very "principled" communists. They fully intend to destroy everything good about the USA.

Our current objectives are to defeat as many of the communist Democrats as possible in November, replace as many of the socialist RINOs as possible with conservatives in the GOP primaries prior to November, and then elect a constitutional conservative as president in 2012. If we don't succeed, then your "principles" will accompany you into the next Dark Age along with the rest of us.

LOL.

The funny thing is, I think we’re merely talking at cross purposes. I don’t think we disagree as sharply as either of us apparently thinks we do. Maybe a little, but not as sharply.

Let’s say we are BOTH against the Commies in the Washington Establishment, and work from there, shall we? lol

Yep! There’s something about Baker that I just don’t like. Put aside his RINO-ness...I think he tries to be a Mitt clone, without Mitt’s ‘charm’.

Too bad, Baker being from Swampscott and all.

Baker has no principles as anyone who kowtows to the sodomy lobby.

Baker is a sellout as well as the party leadership. They are all turning their backs on conservatives. Not just conservatives but moderates as well as this group is far to the left. Don’t trust them on the money issues either. These are people who are just arrogant liers just like the Democrats. They will lie to you without any shame because they think they can keep getting away with it.
