What started as a third-grade lesson on the history of womens fashions ended this week with a lesson in intolerance.
As a project for Womens History Month, a teacher at the Maude Wilkins School in Maple Shade planned to have her students wear outfits showing how womens clothing styles have evolved through history. Boys could wear pants or jeans and explain how those have been common for women at various times. In a letter to parents, the teacher explained that boys would "not have to wear a dress or skirt."
But after one parent posted a complaint online, bloggers began raising an alarm that the Burlington County school was pushing a "gay agenda."
One pointed out that the planned lesson coincided with yesterdays national "Day of Silence" to protest harassment of gays.

yep
Not formally a gay project—as if a class focus on female fashion trends wasn’t feminizing enough for the boys.
The can teach the fellas about mini skirts, string bikinis, tube tops with hot pants, low cut blouses and what have you. They could even bring in some top notch models for show and tell.
Nice thoughts... but wasn’t this third grade?
Oh come on. You just don’t decide one day to ask little boys to dress up like girls.
Tiger will provide the models. He loves helping the children!
Of course after they were caught this is the story they came up with. All innocent nothing to see....move along. *eyeroll*
Have they really covered the American and World History material in enough depth that they can afford to make third grade boys sit through and even participate in a class on women’s fashions?
Actually, it is programming - but not exactly indoctrination. It’s not about making boys into gay males or cross dressers - it’s about teaching boys to be more comfortable being more like girls in the way they think and act.
They’re easier to control that way - or at least that’s the theory...
Or just stupid.
Time is precious and the teacher shouldn’t be wasting it on “Women’s History Month”.
Indoctrination indeed.
“In a letter to parents, the teacher explained that boys would “not have to wear a dress or skirt.”
Was it optional for 3rd grade boys to wear a dress or skirt? And more importantly WHY? (let me guess, to find their “feminine side”).
In order to understand Women’s History Month, we have to look at it’s origins:
“Women’s History Month is an annual declared month in the United States that highlights contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.”
The event traces its beginnings to the first International Women’s Day in 1911.
(IWD)Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc.

Ahhhh...I’m starting to see a connection between Women’s History Month and the radical Women’s Liberation Movement.
When all else fails, ask a communist:

There have been numerous articles about this "cross dressing" history lesson (only pinged out one, think) but I'm pinging both lists because of the links about Womens' History month (or should that be "Wymyns"?). Feminism is all about destroying the natural family, envy of and hatred for men, and promoting abortion and homosexuality.
what utter crap
it is these kind of teachers who need to be fired as they should not be near any children let alone just those in her class
good point
so will this teacher say paint your face black for black month?
By now surely every parent in this school knows about the controversy. Yet....I’d bet my entire 401K that this morning this school will be full to the brim with students.
Free government babysitting is powerfully addictive.
Liberal fascist indoctrinators were caught out, and then called the responsible parents bigots. Typical.
Well said lj!
