WASHINGTON (AP) -- Former President Bill Clinton says angry anti-government rhetoric has led to a worrisome increase in threats against the president and other elected officials.

Clinton says people should be careful that the words they use to criticize officials don't demonize them.

Klinton holds no moral high ground to lecture anyone on anything. It just amazes me how mentally bereft and existentially blind so much of the population is - I could accept 20%, maybe 30%, as being clueless, complicit, or just too damn dumb to grasp the basic concepts, but half the country? Even factoring in the amount of fraud, legal maneuvering, and graveyard ballot-casting, it's still a disturbingly high percentage of sheep in our midst.
