In an interview this afternoon, Louisiana GOP Chair Roger Villere, Jr. told Lincoln Parish News Online he and several others were pursued by protesters last Friday night after a political fundraiser, but managed to get into a cab and avoid the mob. “We started to leave out the front door after the event, but the protesters had us blocked – there were six of us in our group – so we went out through the kitchen,” Villere said. Once they got outside, the protesters spotted them and began to pursue them, but they managed to get into a cab and avoid confrontation. End quote.
So this is the new unspoken war. Thugs and leftist get away with cement bags through bus windows, beating up black TEA partiers, brutalizing GOP workers, terrorizing tourists that happen to be in the area, and we are left to read GOP leadership sneaking out though the kitchen.
WTF!
If the fundraiser participants could not get out the front door, the restaurant management should have called 911, and the police should have broken up the crowd and should have made sure the fundraiser participants had safe egress. That is the cops’ duty.
I am assuming the cops were notified and refused to do anything.
N.O. is out of control again, and the politicians of all stripes don’t want that to get out.
Well. As Clinton and Napolatiano and the libtard media keep telling us, these TEA Party protests are inciting violence. This couple obviously broke broke bones because they were kicking and “pecking” innocent observers with their legs and noses.
There MUST be a civilian security force created to stop these acts of conservative violence.
Even worse... That leadership knew of the problem and did nothing to defend the other members of their group.
Where were the extra security details called after this first event?
