nope, just that it is a strange picture. No bleeding, no deformity or bruising visible. They look as if they had been assaulted, but not that badly injured yet - almost as if they had been hurt more later.
That’s all I meant - not that they were lying about their injuries.
Thanks for the clarification. I guess the bruising takes a couple of minutes to show up unless skin on the surface is broken. But I’d be willing to bet they are both afflicted with purple and yellow swellings even today.
Deep bruises don’t show immediately. It takes awhile for the blood to seep to the surface. Same with swelling. Takes a little bit of time. If this were taken immediately after the beating, the worst of the injuries might not have shown up that clearly.
Ignore the flamers. I agree that the photo does not depict the injuries that have been described. Doesn’t mean they didn’t happen, just means this photo does not illustrate them.
