April 17, 2010 Dr. Alan Keyes delivers the keynote speech at the Dayton,OH tea party convention to an audience of about 8,000 on 4-13-10. When the MSM makes the claim that the Obama Birth Certificate issue is a non-issue, they are telling the public an Outright Lie. One only needs to listen to the crowd to see the truth He also adresses LT COL Terry Lakin's decision to refuse deployment until Pres Obama produces a Long Form Birth Certificate.

Better schedule a two-day affair. Dr. Alan is likely to give a 16 hours speech.

If all those people were to actually vote for him, that would be his best performance yet at the polls!
That is an accurate number. since it was held at the Nutter Arena, with a known capacity. All admittees came in with tickets. I have previously suggested a way for Tea Parties to produce an accurate and provable attendance count. Here's how:
Appoint a reliable person to take wide-angle pictures of the crowd every hour. Send those, with an estimate of attendance at that time. into a central location where the locales, photos and counts would be issued to the MSM. It is inexcusable that the Tea Party people, especially with a press response office now, has not developed this simple way of stuffing the actual counts up the noses of the NY Times, etc.
Congressman Billybob
Keyes is about OUT THERE if you know what I mean.
LOL, I don't know of anyone who has such a great grasp of the issues, yet is so poor at articulating it with the exception of possibly Stephen Hawking.
And what does that say for our country
Not true. Keyes got 1,390,690 votes. That’s directly from the Illinois State Board of Elections website. Out of a total vote count of 5,141,515, that amounts to 27% of the vote. How does your vote total stand by comparison. Just curious. Pick your best year.
Um, forgot to mention, that was from the 2004 Senate race againt Obama. Sorry.
Sorry, don’t know what yu mean. Please clarify.
um, “you,” that is. Haste is the enemy of us all.
No..what do you mean he is out there?
We want a Tea Party that looks back to the spirit of 1776” said keynote speaker Alan Keyes at a Dayton Tea Party rally last night at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.
That is exactly what the Tea Party is about.
No my FRiend, it is you who are out there for posting such an inane idiotic post.
Keyes articulates the issues very well, so I have to surmise it is your dim bulb brain that has the problem with understanding it
Thanks for the post, I was looking forward to hearing Keyes speech.
That 27% vote was against Obama for the Senate seat.
When Keyes ran against Obama for President, the Keyes vote plummeted to 47,694.
Whatever. I was merely refuting ConservativeDude’s misconception that Keyes had never garnered more than 8000 votes. Some people get those erroneous ideas from others constantly pounding on Keyes’ electoral travails. As I knew the answer to be factually incorrect, it seemed proper to set the record straight.
As for how much of the 27% were reflexive votes against Keyes, and how many were core conservatives voting for a solidly prolife candidate brought in at the last minute (thanks to typical Chicago machine ballot-bulldozing), that’s a harder question, absent a scientific survey of the 1.39 million Illinoisans who did in fact vote for Keyes.
Read “reflexive votes against Obama.” Tough night for typos. Sorry.
