California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, "California Has The 2nd Fittest State Government." This guy is nuts. He said this when our state budget is 26 Billion in the red. Get ready the dems are getting ready to push massive tax increases. This was recorded at the California Democratic Convention in Los Angeles on 4-17-10. See this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhV3jvvIm-A where Lockyer says "California Is a Moderate Taxed State."

I think he’s confusing fiscal fitness with physical fitness.

More taxes?

That's a good trick, due to that fact that many can no longer pay their existing bills.

Most have no more money left to give government.

GOVERNMENT UNIONS

They just make it up as they go along, don’t they?

It seems to be a new thing among the Democrats. Just say whatever you need to say, no matter what the evidence, statistics, or reality indicate.

The Obama regime and Congress are doing this all the time, and now the state level Dems are following suit.

We’re accustomed to the Dems lying and twisting the truth to suit their agenda, but they seem to have suddenly abandoned all attachment to reality with their statements and claims.

I just moved from CA to MI and my tax bill dropped dramatically:

Sales tax from ~10% to 6%
Income tax from ~10% to 4%
Property tax from $8,500 to $1,500 per year

In CA we had tax on cell phones, tax on utilities, unbelievable car registration tax, and don't even get me started on the Franchise Tax Board.

I know that Michigan sucks but CA sucks worser...
