WASHINGTON -- Sections of court papers filed by scandal-scarred former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich that were mistakenly made public show a deeper involvement by President Obama in picking his Senate successor and call into question the president's public statements on the case.
According to passages in the papers filed Thursday by Blagojevich's lawyers -- which were blacked out under a judge's order but made visible by a computer glitch -- Obama, then president-elect, spoke directly to the disgraced governor on Dec. 1, 2008.
But just one week later -- on the day Blagojevich was indicted -- Obama told reporters flatly, "I had no contact with the governor or his office, and so we were not -- I was not aware of what was happening."

There is no doubt in my mind that Obama and Blago talked either directly or through an intermediary like Rahm.
I am sure there was also some talk about some quid pro quo involved as well.
But then bribery and corruption are a way of life in Chicago politics. Chicago makes Mexico look like a bunch of pussycats by comparison.
One of the best weapons liberals have in their arsenal is their ability to make it appear as though conservative are responsible for the chaotic state of today's Congress and government. And we let them do that. We are so afraid of sounding like cry babies that we let them do and say all sorts of things that are out and out lies, but lies that are bought by the dumbed-down voters whose total understanding of life comes from a public education. The progressives have spent the better part of 50 years now infiltrating every aspect of American life, especially the school system. As a result, almost no one under 65 recognizes or understands the threat our country faces now.
The upcoming election will be a sure and certain indication of just how far gone we are, and our hope of reversing course. I fear it will not be good for those of us who want to take back the America we grew up loving.

That´s the 1st thought in the morning, THIS is only the tip of the iceberg. Sad tha the FREE PRESS, the investigative reporters all belonged to another era.

I THINK IT IS REMARKABLE THAT WITHIN A WEEK OF TIGER WOODS CRASHING HIS ESCALADE, THE PRESS FOUND EVERY WOMAN WITH WHOM TIGER HAS HAD AN AFFAIR IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, WITH PHOTOS, TEXT MESSAGES, RECORDED PHONE CALLS, ETC.
AND, THEY NOT ONLY KNOW THE CAUSE OF THE FAMILY FIGHT, BUT THEY EVEN KNOW IT WAS A WEDGE FROM HIS GOLF BAG THAT HIS WIFE USED TO BREAK OUT THE WINDOWS IN THE ESCALADE. NOT ONLY THAT, THEY KNOW WHICH WEDGE!
AND EACH AND EVER DAY, THEY GIVE AMERICA MORE UPDATES ON HIS SEX-REHAB STAY, HIS WIFE’S PLANS FOR DIVORCE, AND HIS PLANS TO RETURN TO THE PRO-GOLF CIRCUIT.
OBAMA HAS BEEN IN OFFICE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, AND THIS SAME PRESS STILL CANNOT LOCATE OBAMA’S OFFICIAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, OR ANY OF HIS PAPERS WHILE IN COLLEGE, OR HOW HE PAID FOR A HARVARD EDUCATION, OR WHICH COUNTRY
ISSUED HIS VISA TO TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN IN THE 1980’S AS BARRY SORETORO AND EVEN MICHELLE OBAMA’ S PRINCETON THESIS ON RACISM. IT JUST CAN’T BE FOUND.
YET THE PUBLIC STILL TRUSTS THAT SAME PRESS TO GIVE THEM

It’s very odd to me how the news items that Drudge had up on his page about this simmering Blago/Oabam scandal are GONE.
How Blag wanted to subpoena Obama. Item is GONE.
No mention of this on Drudge this morning???
No need to shout. No need.
ALL of this WILL be thoroughly investigated with hearing in the Congress when WE own the gavel in December.
We need to keep our eye on that ball and do everything in our power to make sure THAT happens.
Then we can impeach and rid ourselves of this Tyrant in training the American way - by voting him into the dust pile of history.
I know but I’m mad as hell about what our government is doing.
