Navy SEALs 2, PCBS 0!

In a story you won’t see on MSNBC, for the second time in 2 days, a Navy SEAL was acquitted of charges in the infamous terrorist-with-a-fat-lip case.

After a day-long trial, a Navy judge took 2 hours to come back with a verdict of not guilty of dereliction of duty for Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe of Yorktown, Va.

No word on what the judge did for the other hour and 58 minutes he spent in chambers after giving the evidence the consideration it deserved. The judge, a model of decorum, managed not to use the words “insane,” “bulls**t,” or ask the prosecutor “What the **** did you waste all this time and money for?” when announcing the acquittal.

The prosecutor had the nerve to tell the Navy panel to convict Keefe in order to show “we are better than the terrorists.”

Umm, I’m thinking you should save that argument for when Navy SEALs ambush Iraqi citizens, drag them through the streets, hang their bodies from a bridge, and then do a happy dance.

I think the scumbag JAG attorneys ought to be sent to Afghanistan and used for IED detection and removal.

Is this all or are there more Seals waiting for vindication? And the judge spent the two hours reviewing all the evidence. That’s his job, even if the evidence is clear from the get go.

With the SEALs telling him how to do it. By radio.

“With the SEALs telling him how to do it. By radio.”
Set on the same frequency as the IED.

Theproper use of a JAG off. is to help deployed personnel with civilian legal and debt problems.
They should serve especially the enlisted and non-commissioned personnel.

Hey, we have a Congresscritter in the PA 8th that claims he led troops up ambush alley. Imagine any soldier following a JAG asshat anywhere.

The real problem is that these Seals were ever brought up in the first place. If we continue to prosecute members of the Armed Services for doing their job, we soon won’t have anyone willing to fight.

My military justice knowledge is eluding me, but the persons that brought them up on charges should be reprimanded, and duly noted in their fitness reports.

These are obviously political charges.

One of the Special Forces Generals mentioned he would rather head up river with 6 studs rather than 300 assholes. Hate to say it but here are far too many assholes in positions of responsibility and not just in the military....

"...but the persons that brought them up on charges should be reprimanded, and duly noted in their fitness reports"

Notation in the fitness report: "Given the obvious absence of testicles, a dedicktomy is recommended."

These, no. We should perhaps only allow bankruptcy and injury attorneys in the Corps.

Are there even as many as 6 real men left among the military top brass? It’s one of the most discouraging changes to take place in the USA in my lifetime.
