Rep. John Boehner declined to join a chorus of angry opponents of a state law in Arizona that, among other stipulations, requires that law enforcement asks residents for paperwork to prove they arent illegal immigrants.
I think the people of Arizona have the right to pass their laws under the 10th amendment, said Boehner during a news conference at the Capitol.
Echoing a GOP response line that the Arizona law would not have been necessary had Congress been successfully passed immigration reform, Boehner said he thinks the resulting Arizona law is clearly the result of the federal governments failure to secure our borders and to enforce our law.

Someone is getting the memo.
Well at least theres one
Not much of an endorsement though.
A new immigration law will be a waste of time. Even granted amnesty the illegals will NEVER complete the steps.
Their too LAZY. Their not lazy in that they don’t like to work. They LOVE to make money. But... when it comes to the HARD part like paying fines and doing community service and blah blah etc.... all the stuff they will have to accomplish to become full citizens.
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Thy want the U.S. Government to sprinkle some magic pixie dust on their head and give them citizenship just because they are here and “working”.
That's about it.
I’d rather not see the Feds pass immigration “reform”. It’s hardly likely to be worthy of the term. If other states simply passed Arizona’s law it would satisfy me.
Since the Arizona law was passed, both President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have expressed concerns, as have a number of Republicans, including former Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Lindsay Graham and Florida gubernatorial candidate Marco Rubio.Gov. Jeb Bush - hopefully the Bush dynasty is dead forever so who cares what he says.
