INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin takes the stage Saturday at the Independence Events Center, along with other well-known political figures, for the event called Winning Back America.
Beginning at 1 pm with remarks from radio DJ Darla Jaye, Winning America Back is hosted by Preserving American Liberty, a volunteer organization from the Kansas City area.
Tickets range from around $50 to around $250.
Political commentator Jeri Thompson will speak at 1:30, followed by 2008 presidential candidate Fred Thompson at 1:40.
Palin is scheduled to take the stage at 6 pm, followed by a question and answer session, just before the event concludes at 7.
There will also be two discussion events throughout the day, including a conversation on the economy, jobs, and the deficit at 3:30 pm, and a conversation on conservative urban outreach at 5:15.
