“Cuba Si!—Arizona No! “ Says Mexican President Felipe Calderon (Among Many Others)
Townhall ^ | 5/4/10 | Humberto Fontova

Mexican President Felipe Calderon can hardly contain his revulsion and rage against Arizona’s SB 1070. He’s "deeply troubled" reports the Associated Press over a law he denounces as "discriminatory and racist," not to mention “a dire threat to the whole Hispanic-American population."

This new Arizona law "opens the door to intolerance, hate, discrimination and abuse in law enforcement," sputters the Mexican President.

Indeed, this “threat to Hispanics” and these “abuses in law enforcement," have been ongoing for years. The Associated Press carried a story where a Maria Elena Gonzalez, reported how female migrants were “forced to strip by abusive police officers, supposedly to search them, but the purpose is to sexually abuse them."

Jose Ramos, 18, reported “that extortion by border police occurs at every stop on their migratory route. Until migrants are left penniless and begging for food.”

According to this Associated Press story: “Others said they had seen migrants beaten to death by police, their bodies left near the railway tracks to make it look as if they had fallen from a train. "If you're carrying any money, they take it from you," said Carlos Lopez. "Federal, state, local police--all of them shake you down. If you're on a bus, they pull you off and search your pockets, and if you have any money, they keep it all and say, get out of here.”

All of the above “hate” and “abuses in law enforcement” as reported by the Associated Press, befell Central American migrants who enter Mexico.

We are actually doing the Mexican President a favor by ensuring his tax paying citizens stay home, earn some money and pay taxes.

If illegals want to escape Mexico, they can go to Honduras or Cuba, I hear it’s a paradise.

Unlike Mexico's security policy along its southern border, which welcome illegal aliens with open arms. ...right, Felipe?

Actually NO. The Mexican El Presidente is sputter so loudly because his second highest industry is the remittances that all those illegal aliens send back home.

updated 2:48 p.m. MT, Tues., Jan. 27, 2009 MEXICO CITY - The money sent home by Mexican migrants fell in 2008 for the first time on record, Mexico's central bank said Tuesday — part of a global trend that could worsen as emigrants from developing countries lose jobs in the global financial crisis.

Remittances, Mexico's second-largest source of foreign income after oil, plunged 3.6 percent to $25 billion in 2008 compared with $26 billion for the previous year, the central bank said.

Mexico doesn’t want to deal with their own poor so they send them to us, then they feign outrage. The guy is so full of crap. If he really cared for his own people he would take care of them himself, instead we are left paying the bills.

He’s convinced me! America is an evil, discriminatory place...So, of course, no Mexicans should come to this terrible, evil hellhole. Mexico, I am sure, is much nicer. I see it clearly now; Mexicans need to stay home in their own paradise of a country and not subject themselves to the torturous injustice of the United States.

Let's see if I have this straight...Mexican President Felipe Calderon is mad because of the Arizona law that focuses on ILLEGAL invaders from Mexico.

He says they suffer:

"Discrimination"
"Racism"
"Hate"
"Dire Threats"
"Intolerance"
"Law Enforcement abuse"
"Sexual abuse"
"Extortion"
"Fatal Beatings"
and
"Theft".

Quite a laundry list of things he claims....but my one question is...

IF IT'S THAT BAD, THEN WHY DO WE HAVE OVER 13 MILLION OF THEM HERE, AND MORE COMING EVERY DAY?

I guess they are all just fleeing the shootings, drugs, stabbing, beheadings, and living conditions in YOUR COUNTRY, El Presidente.

Note to El Presidente: "Arizona" is a state in the country of North America. It is allowed to make it's own laws to protect it sovereignty and security of its people.

On the other hand, "Mexico" is a country, which also makes its own laws. Now, if we have all the "evils" you claim her in Arizona or the USA, and you make the laws in MEXICO, then why don't you do something about making living conditions better in your own country and STFU about ours...YOU have NO STANDING in our country, el Presidente, and you're not doing that great in yours.

So protect your people from all the "evils" that await them in the USA, and make living in Mexico tolerable so your people will be safe, and prosperous, with no need to brave the evil inner sanctum of the USA.

YOU and the horse you rode in on.

This is always the same pattern with these socialists. They always enjoy the same splendor as the Capitalists they eliminated. The only trouble is that, without Capatalists, there is less wealth for fewer people. If the Mexican people were not excaping Mexico and invading the United States, they would have to eliminate them either through a kill off through starvation or, like we have seen so many times before, through the gun.

Calderon is just begging to be unseated. And it’s a shame that, when that happens, it will look like the PRD (the left-left party) caused it, and nobody with less than two brain cells together (i.e. about 92% of the population) will remember that it was because he’s been acting like a complete moron.

Hey Felipe! Make more noises like you are doing and we will start putting the magnifying glass to your incompetent job performance. In fact, we should be looking at the operation of the Mexican government. Why is it they have so much poverty? They certainly have the natural resources and growing climate. Is it because of the political structure and corruption?

Hey Felipe! Are you on drugs or something?

The thing with removing Felipe is that we may get a Hugo Chavez clone in power in Mexico. Then we get hit with another wave of mass immigration; this being Mexico’s middle class fleeing a Communist regime. In 2012, this would be bad news.
