That might not be a popular solution with Mormons

Oh I dont know...
Castration was popular with the mormons when they were doing it to men who had women the castrater was lusting after...
mormon bishop Warren Snow castrated a young mormon man because the boy wouldnt give up his fiance to Snow
and the girl kept refusing Snows sexual advances....
When Briggy Young heard about it he said that Snow did the right thing...
Now it seems to me that if the mormon “prophet” thinks its OK to castrate and innocent mormon man...
Then they would have no objection to the castration of a guilty child rapist mormon man...
Well, I have to admit... if you’re referring to actual Mormon history and practices, you’ve got a point. Of course, I might consider that to be an example of “You don’t deny a ‘god’ ... if he wants your wife!”
But, why quibble over details... you’re probably right ... :-)
[ ... by the way, I believe the same thing happened with another “polygamous group”, too... Mohammed had someone “hand over their wife” ... but, I think there were a number of men that never got the chance to hand over their wives to Mohammed as he had them killed before he grabbed their wives ... doncha know ... polygamous groups do seem to have some similar thinking ...]
Yes, I read about this from one of former BYU professor of History Michael Quinn's books. Exactly how you described it. Quinn added that the young castrated man lost his mind after the Lds leader's mob actions.
