Wasn't Nancy Reagan for abortion? I don't know about her view on gay rights.

I’m very disappointed in the former first lady. I am heartened by President Bush’s stance.
I never expected Laura Bush to turn into Megan McCain. I won’t be buying her book either.
Expect Mrs. Bush to be warmly embraced by the women at the View, Rachel Maddow and Elena Kagen.
Thank God we still have Sarah to look up to.

Nancy Reagan was a flake from the get go but most knew that and accepted it because of President Reagan's deep love for her. But with Nancy Reagan, truly, you knew what you were getting.
Laura Bush always carried herself with such grace and extended such kindness toward others, and kept silent (as it should be) about such things. Now we're going to have to put up with her running around the country extolling the virtues of depravity and infanticide. And she'll carry weight no doubt...think of the young women who have admired her and now...well Laura Bush thinks it's ok to murder my baby...Laura Bush thinks sodomy is fine.
I just want to vomit

Many Presidential wives are exceedingly light weight when it comes to moral issues.
There's probably a reason for that.
