Wonder what they’ll do at their new jobs.
With good Republicans like me receiving red enveloped “Past Due” membership dunning notices from the RNC maybe they will take heed to my tongue lashings. I berate those who try persuading me to realize the danger of not supporting the party effort to take back the congress.
Is someone available to drive Juan home after the election? FYI, my former-comrade-in-arms went bonkers about 10 years ago. Sorry.
Good strategy, for Conservatives......
Shake-ups tend to indicate severe problems within.
[Let’s hope so.]
“Sarah, ready to rescind your endorsement yet? Please get behind JD!”
I think that she believes JD used his PAC money to pay his wife a six-figure sum, took a barrel of dough from Jack Abramoff, broke his term-limits pledge as a congressman and made the same pledge as he entered the Senate race. I’m not saying that she has said it out loud, but I believe this is what she thinks about the guy. She thinks all these things are true and can’t support him because of that.
Gee...I hope he keeps the staff members that proposed his new border video with the Sheriff......I want to see more embarrassing evidence of his senility....
I think what it means is Captain Quig has decided the crew was wrong when they told him to go conservative. He now figures the move has not done him all that well so it is time to tack back to the “center”. Alas, the crew was right just the sea of voters is terribly non forgiving.
You don't shake up your staff when you are winning. This is a more reliable indicator that Juan McAmnesty is in trouble than any poll the MSM is putting out.
It's too bad we can't even quote small sections of the article, but we can "rewrite it" in our own words without any problems ... :-)
From what I read of the article it doesn't sound like a shake-up ... I think that's just the "title writer" trying to get "eyeballs" to look at the article ... LOL ...
What it says is that McCain is "shuffling" some people. The two people it names are Shiree Verdone and Mike Hellon.
But, guess where they are going? LOL ...
They are going to the "Republican Victory" operation. That's the part of the campaign for McCain that is going to campaign for the "general election" -- in other words, McCain is "ramping up" -- right now -- for the "general election". That's what is happening.
Mike Hellon, by the way, is mentioned as having a "part-time role" and is the former Arizona Republican Party chairman. He is going, with Shiree Verdone, to organize the "general election campaign".
So, in looking over the actual article, what it sounds like to me, is shifting the people away from the GOP Primary, and over into the organization that will be specifically handling the "general election" itself.
Anyway, that's what I read of the article...
Sarah needs a better excuse than that. McCAin got much more $$$ from Abramoff’s firm than J.D. got.
Shake-ups tend to indicate severe problems within.
The "title" says "shakeup" but I think that's misleading, according to the actual article itself... see what I read in the article ... at Post #13 ...
Back to the Left I guess.
All the official RNC-GOP wants is to get back into the DC action. I really don't believe they actually want a majority. They just want to be strong enough to effectively sell their votes on brokered deals and represent their major donors.
I worked in and around DC for a long time. If there is one irksome thing that I detest is that elected Republicans invariably turn around and hire the usual DC Democrat suspects as staff members. Check out who is working for your Republican representatives. See how many Republicans are working on Senate and House Committee Staffs. Try ...O...about 0!
The GOP will win a lot of seats in 2010. A pity as it stands right now. Because we have:
NO PROGRAM
NO PLAN TO IMPLEMENT ONE
NO LEADER
NO CLUE on how to save this situation.
IMHO, it is possible the Democrats might even want the Republicans to take over in'10, perhaps even in 2012, so they can blame the New Mega-Depression on them, using the ensuing chaos to facilitate the ultimate Social-ization of the US, and thus their eternal grasp on the reins of the Federal Government.
In the climactic battle between the Evil Party and The Stupid Party, the Evil Party is way ahead with minutes left to play.
Lol, and are you also saying that Sarah thinks of Juan McCain as a man of unimpeachable integrity? I guess she is especially proud of him for his 'consistency' on the border security issue over the years. Right? And I guess she is also very proud of Juan for how he treated the families of POW/MIAs during the 1993 hearings?
Since you're in the mind reading business this morning.
Sarah,
If you don’t drop this anti-American creep NOW, you can save your canned “Common Sense Conservative” drivel that you’ve been spouting! You can’t say you support conservative principles and still support McAmnesty!
(Artcore anxiously awaits the diehard Palin supporters to defend her continued support of McCain...)
“Sarah needs a better excuse than that. McCAin got much more $$$ from Abramoffs firm than J.D. got.”
I’m not trying to defend her, but really, saying one wasn’t QUITE as big a crook isn’t a ringing endorsement. And I think the other stuff is in play too. I think the whole Indian scam really turned her off, but she feels like she owes Juan. Don’t understand it, or pretend to know what’s true, just what I’ve heard. Tough when you got that much muck floating around. I was hoping for new blood without all this mishigas.
