Shes clearly qualified for the court and should be confirmed. Obviously, shes a left-of-center academic who never would have been picked by a Republican.
Anybody else see the inherent contradiction there...'left-of-center academics' by their very nature believe in the 'Living Document' philosophy of constitutional law.
If you think the U.S. Constitution is a "living" document, then you don't believe in it--Either you accept the Constitution as it is written and properly amended, or you reject it, and subsequently you reject the country that was founded by it.
