I don’t think they had any Ron PAul 2008 stickers on the bumber of their car and as far as I can tell the vehicle looks riddled with bullets. Maybe they knew these guys were riding around and figured they could pin it on them, thinking they are some kind of extremist group, maybe they actually did shoot the police, kind of hard to figure out. Apparently the car had no plates on it? That seems suspicious to me, but if the kid opened fire then sure anything would be possible, but I don’t understand why he would open fire unless already having been fired upon, I wonder if the car was used by the kid and his friends or something and maybe the old man didn’t know what was going on? Who knows, I’ll await more info, but it seems strange they haven’t used this story, but since the Hutaree story they have sort of backed down from that kind of publicity mostly cause it made them look kind of goofy especially after the Times Square incident....that was able to happen most likely cause they were so worked up about the Hutaree ding dongs, IMHO.

They pulled the plates off after shooting the first two officers. The police knew where to find them because the stopped to ask directions and the fellow they asked noticed one of them taking off the plate, heard the radio bulletin that police were looking for a white van with Ohio plates, and called in to tell them where they got directions to.

I mentioned Paul from the talks they gave around the country. (as opposed to Aryan). Their site gives the impression of paranoid people. If they thought the police were out to get them, a routine stop blew up big time.

According to police where he lived in OH, Kane was the confrontational sort and supposedly had 5 run-ins with the law...including felonious assault.

Additionally, I read that he was arrested in New Mexico for not having a valid drivers license. He failed to show up for court, because he doesn't believe in that kind of thing so NM issued an arrest warrant.

Given his temperment, previous record, and arrest warrant... it's not hard to imagine what might have taken place when he got pulled over by the W. Memphis cops.
