Going down with the ship...
Who will be able to pay them?
The shocking part is that it is only 5 billion.
How’s this for an idea? Make taxes voluntary. I’ve been seeing a lot of morons on the boob tube lately who have been whining about not being allowed to pay more taxes. Everyone should be able to voluntarily decide if they want to pay and how much. NOW THAT’ WHAT I CALL A REAL AMERICAN IDEA!
Damn. That means more liberal/socialist californias will be moving out.
“Who will be able to pay them?”
Let these jerks pay for it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chp2u2ln8_E
How much does the entertainment industry contribute in taxes......I would think if they paid their fair share they would be really complaining......or do they make so much they do not care?
Just the first shot countering GAS’ proposal to cut CalWorks welfare program. Gonna be a long hot summer.
a lot of the entertainment industry has moved out of Calif. in an effort to find a better business climate/tax breaks. Appears they are fine w/ higher taxes - just not for themselves (like most liberals)
Kalifornia small business still has a weak pulse. It must be taken off life support and killed!
Ther isn't any reason to cut spending. If anything it should be increased.
Who can honestly say that they didn’t see this coming?
Cally is $500 BILLION behind - in pensions alone. Why do lawmakers REALLY suck at economics?
The democrats (aka liberals) think the economy is a static pie of wealth and they can carve out as much of it as they see fit.
In reality economy and wealth creation is a dynamic entity taxes punish the most productive and reward the least productive. The result? The whole pie shrinks! Less for everybody.
And when revenues decline and unmeployment claims rise they’ll say it was becuse they didn’t increase taxes enough.
So let’s elect a Meg, the pseudo (R) so the (R)s can take the hit. No, if Meg is the one I’ll vote for Moonbeam & watch the gallows come up for him in 16 months time.
You either stay in power by educating the public or you pay them off. Looks like the Dims are choosing the later as usual.
No news here, now if they demanded a cut in spending by that much it would be news...democrats and taxes are one and the same...
