Democrats Take Warmly to Calderon Message on Immigration and Beyond

Democrats cheered the Mexican president for his criticism of the controversial Arizona immigration law, while Republicans afterward lectured Calderon on the imprudence of knocking the host.

When Calderon took several minutes last Thursday to discuss the problem of assault weapons crossing the border into Mexico, Democrats visibly aligned themselves with Calderon's message.

In another odd moment, rows of Democrats rose to applaud Calderon when he delivered a brief portion toward the end of his speech in Spanish. First in Spanish, then in English, Calderon voiced his respect for "migrants" who have left their families to work in the United States and pledged to work for their "rights."

We MUST take Congress back from the Democrats -- they clearly do NOT have the best interests of the US in mind, and are taking orders from a foreign government.

Who would have EVER thought that a country that itself ENFORCES STRICT IMMIGRATION LAWS would get a standing 'O' for slamming one of OUR STATES for standing up for a law already on the books...I AM FURIOUS with these DEMOCRATS and convinced now that they would sell their very souls for votes. I saw a piece on the news once about an American soldier in El Paso who took a wrong turn on the highway and ended up at the border. He had a handgun in his vehicle and ended up in a Mexican jail. The last I heard, they were still trying to get him released.

McCain's Hispanic outreach director Juan Hernandez stated on national television that he is for the North American Union, and the “Amero” to replace the dollar within 10 years or so.

Hernandez believes all illegal Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the USA should become dual citizens and consider themselves Mexicans first, "to the 8th generation." Hernandez' book urges illegal alien invaders to become settlers in the USA for Reconquista---the Mexican plan to take back the SW.

Conservatives for CIR is going public. A number of evangelical and business leaders were on a conference call, including former Bush 43 Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was supposed to be on the call, but he had a conflict.

I live in Arizona and have seen the kidnappings, home invasions, auto accidents, vehicle pursuits with illegal alien loads, trauma centers nearly closed because the illegal aliens don’t pay, substandard education due to the influx of illegal aliens and countless minor crimes that clog the court system and add to taxpayer cost. I recently purchased a DPMS AR-15 and am looking forward to the opportunity to use it. The Demonrats that applauded Calderon will never have to put up with any of the garbage coming from Mexico and obviously don’t care about the people that have to.

We can do several things. Voting in November is the first. I also plan to NEVER again vacation in Mexico or any place that boycotts Arizona. The reverse Boycott (buying Arizona products and vacationing in Arizona) sounds like a good Idea. Cities in the boycott so far are San Francisco (would love to get Pelosi out of the House), LA, and what others. The kick in the wallet can be effective.
