To be fair, that press briefing was in the East Room of the White House, which is traditionally not decorated with any American flags.


Bush didn't seem to have a problem finding room.

I believe I said “traditionally.” The way you read it, it must have meant “it never has, nor will it ever occur.” I do not like Obama, but this is a BS argument made by the mainstream media to take attention away from real issues like the top kill failure.

I can GIS plenty of pictures of a pres briefing without flags present. But what does that matter? Honestly, why is this an issue? So he did not lay down a wreath for our fallen brothers, but he is far from the first. G.W, G.H.W., and Regan have skipped out on it too.

Let us not make a mountain of a mole hill. If we concentrate our efforts on such small issues, our power as a movement will be too diversified to have a real impact.
