Calif. DA finds no crime around Palin contract

MODESTO, Calif. (AP) -- A district attorney has cleared a California university of intentionally destroying documents about an upcoming speech by Sarah Palin.

The Stanislaus County District Attorney also found no evidence of wrongdoing by students who obtained part of Palin's contract.

Of course he didn’t, it is not against the law to pay someone to speak, the frickin’ a**hat who brought these charges should have to face a court action!

The students were charged with stealing parts of Palin’s contract.

It's a big deal to everyone to make it seem like Palin shouldn't make any money from speaking.

They stole it to find out how much she was being paid so they could reaise a stink about it.

The kids destroyed the evidence yet the judge let them off scott free.

If this was a lawsuit against Palin for something it would be stretched out forever.

You can’t ‘steal something’ from a trash can.

If they threw it away, it is fair game.

However, it is unlikely that it was really thrown away. Someone gave it to those students.
