cause everything this clown gets involved with turns into an instant pile of Obama.
This was an isolated incident likely involving a handful of employees and supervisors on the very lowest level of the food chain. To extrapolate this and make systemic accusations is irresponsible.

Definitely incompetence. We have a neighbor who is doing it, let me tell you, he wastes time, he doesn’t know where he’s going and can’t find half of his houses.

A neighbor owns a small mobile-home park. It has at least three separate Census Workers assigned to it.
They’ve been lurking for weeks, trying to identify who lives there. Since many are probably illegals, they are not happy to be spotted by the government.
The Census Workers have threatened my friend with legal sanctions if she doesn’t tell them who and how many live where. She’s told them to pound sand, because according to Fair Housing Authority laws & regulations, she’s not allowed to say anything about anyone, especially if they don’t reflect enough light.
The Census guy said he’d have her fined $1,000 for not telling him what he wanted to know. The FHA guy told her she’d be fined $10,000 if she did tell the Census guy what he wanted to know.
So she told the Census guy to go ahead and fine her.
I’m doing the census....we’re on the other side of the country. He’s absolutely right that’s how training is done. (Four of my friends are doing this locally - we all had different trainers, locations, etc. We were told to use the time we left our door till the time we got back to our door.)
There’s also widespread misrepresentation of actual hours worked. We are supposed to get 1 completed questionnaire per hour. So the crew leader assistants tell us to falsify the forms and time cards by putting that we’ve been there at different times - so basically pad our hours instead of getting 8 done in one hour, you indicate you work 5-8 hours.
(For the record, no - I’ve been honest about my times, but it’s maddening to see other people work less and end up with more hours and more paycheck because they don’t mind falsifying information.)
This is the same agency that spent 70 million dollars on a computer system that doesn’t work, and we’re using the 70’s scan tron type paperwork.
The census worker showed up at my place last week. He could have almost been the twin brother of Red Swingline guy in Office space. From his look to his demeanor to his speech. I kid you not.
Less acne though.
I was in Fresno CA on business. 2 associates of mine went into Starbucks in the morning and witnessed census workers ERASING and changing forms.
