There have been some who have used alleged genetic distinctions as a preamble to asserting that modern Jews (specifically Ashkenazi) are biblically and prophetically irrelevant.

That’s true, in fact there is a growing movement claiming that African-Americans are the true Jews. (That is sort of like saying that because I am your cousin, you no longer exist.)

I can see Obama supporting this group of African-Americans. He’s got another problem with this effort though:
