LIMA, Peru – The chief of Peru's criminal police says Dutch murder suspect Joran van der Sloot has told police that he knows the location of the body of missing U.S. teen Natalie Holloway. Gen. Cesar Guardia tells The Associated Press that Van der Sloot "let slip that he knew the place where this person was buried." But Guardia says the young Dutchman "would only testify (on the matter) before Aruba authorities." Guardia said that he didn't know how seriously to take Van der Sloot's statement given his history of dubious statements about the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of the Alabama teen. Guardia says the matter came up as Van der Sloot confessed to killing 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores in a Lima hotel room.

This guy will try to play poker here. There is no way he’s going to just volunteer that information because he would then be confessing another crime. So he’ll try to work a deal of some sort.

I'm pretty sure the Peruvian investigators don't have the Civil Rights restraints the US or Holland has. More than likely, he "screamed in agony and pain" where Holloway's body was.

One of the things that disturbs me is that he committed the Peruvian murder on the anniversary of the Holloway murder. Where was he and what was he doing on the intervening anniversary dates?
Someone needs to beat it out of this piece of human debris. How awful for Beth Halloway and her family, once again Natalie’s murderer admits he knows all, yet refuses to allow her to take whatever is left of her daughter home.

Yes! Do you recall those media interviews with his parents and him after Natalie’s murder? All of them made me sick.
Of course. Once in Aruba the Dutch ‘authorities could keep poolside and casino side forever, away from that hellish Peruvian jail waiting for him. Even Mommy would be there to breastfeed him. What a lying POS!
All he has to do is say something vague and untraceable, like “She’s in the ocean” and claim it’s the truth. No way to verify it, though, and he still might get a deal.
He needs a dose of truth serum.
Peru has a very effective justice system apparently. They must be quite convincing...

Good point-It seems he has a fixation for that day..perhaps like many serial killers, he regards it as ‘special’. I too hope he gets his just deserts but it’s early days yet.
