Burr vs. Cunningham or Marshall?

Posted on 06/22/2010 5:19:35 AM PDT by Andy from Chapel Hill

I need advice from the Freeper community.

I have been a JesseCrat for over 34 years (registered D so I can vote for the easiest D to beat - Like "Operation Chaos") and cannot figure which candidate to vote for in today's primary.

Who is easier for Burr to beat, Cunningham or Marshall?

Suggestions, please.

TOPICS: Politics/Elections; US: North Carolina
KEYWORDS: burr; cunningham; marshall

Cal will receive money from the Dem Senatorial Comittee. Marshall is easier to defeat - she will have no $.

Purely as an outsider I would have to say Marshall would be easier to beat. This Cunningham is a veteran and is more energetic than Marshall - looks like a better candidate.

I would say Marshall as well. She looks frail and has been around NC politics a long time. I live in NC, and even though Burr is not a real go-getter, the state would be insane to vote in a Dem after the mess that they have made of this state!

I agree with everyone else on going with Marshall. Cunningham can enthuse the nutroot base to turn out and bring that money into the state, and we don’t want that. Marshall also seems like a weak campaigner.
