They should have been brought home from that mess year’s ago. For the live of me, I can’t understand why most Republicans voted to approve Obama’s surge. What were they thinking?!?
They were thinking that you can’t have a vacuum of power in Afganistan or terrorists will once again have a place to congregate and plan/stage attacks on us...of course.
Maybe they thought they'd look like massive hypocrites if they didn't.
We are obviously not winning this war...not the way it is being fought. Corrupt ally govt—locals unwilling to step up — insurgents using terror -— and on and on.
